Made from 100% sun-dried Muscat grapes, naturally sweet wine (i.e., without added sugar), aged in barrels. An amber-coloured uniquely refreshing sweet wine, whose acidity rejuvenates the palette, making you eager for the next glass. Dried apricots, peaches and spoon sweets in every sip…yet it never overwhelms you! The bottles of Joya darling are exceptionally few but the smiles it spreads · countless.

Storytelling
Joya in Italian means “my joy” and in the Ionian Islands, it's used as a salutation for beloved individuals since the time of Venetian rule. Joya is also the name given to the eldest grandchild of the new generation of the family. Our love for the vineyards is a heritage lost in the depths of centuries, but happiness is hidden in a moment. In a sip of wine you can find Joya's laughter as it sounded one afternoon at Lepeda Beach, in Lixouri. Her dress was blue - like that of the label - and her joy was so radiant that it shimmered in her eyes.

Food Pairing
You may be surprised, but Joya darling should be tasted with relatively “semi-sweet” desserts like Greek semolina halva and cake (ravani) as well yogurt with honey and fruits! However, for an elevated experience try Joya darling with blue cheese or mild cheeses like fresh myzithra and manouri. Semi-hard sweet cheese like kasseri, is also a great pair.
